I will give a short Brake down of the MISS SHELLY AWARD
This will be the 5th year now that it has been presented.
It is a award that is given out at the barner Bash in Fla.in Feb.or March each year.
This year it will be held March 22nd. to 24th.
The award is to Recognize some one in the hobby that has helped to keep it going and has showed a unselfish willingness to help others to obtain this.
The person does not have to attend the 2013 barner's Bash / The last two winners were not in attendance at there award presentation.
It is "NOT" a popularity contest or who ever get's the most posts on the Barn or has the most or the prettiest cars.
The recipient can be male or female any where in the world.
This year it will be changed up some and the award will also have a $$$$ attached to it in the form of a donation given in the name of the winner to the SUSAN G KOMEN for the cure.

Starting Jan 1 2013 untill Jan 31 2013 You can send me your Nominations for the award to me at:
[email protected]

( Any one that has sent me names already don't worry they are on the list )

At the end of that time the names will be compiled and forwarded to the previous 4 winners, Shelly VanPelt 2009 / Vic Piano 2010 /
Ron H ( Ol'Ron ) 2011 / Lawson Cox 2012
They will then decide on the 2013 winner.

I am still looking for Help for the 2013 Miss Shelly award.

So go ahead make your Donations & relize that 100% of your donation goes to
SUSAN G KOMEN for the cure.

Then after Jan 1 2013 send me your nominees names Add a little reason why you feel they should win.

Excellent Bill, your award creations have always been spectacular and now adding the element of a charitable donation really puts the "Miss Shelly Award" in a class by itself, one more (really good reason) to look forward to the 2013 Florida "Barner's Bash". Vic
