Default 52 Merc Video

Oh no, not another boring youtube video of the 52 Mercury by Roosty6! Well it is number 500 for me so thought I'd mention it. Don't look too close at the body work as I've forgotten most of what I ever learned 40 years ago about working with bondo. I'm happy with the results as it fills in the holes and will hopefully prevent further rusting. Now I need to get the patched fender installed.

Hey Ralph, that's a 20 foot job, you know looks good from 20 feet away. I put a piece of plywood in the floor of my '50 Ford back in the day to keep my feet dry.
Someday I'd like to see that Merc pickup running around the farm.

Yes, from a distance it looks just fine. I have not gone to plywood yet but do have some recycled furnace ducts used as floor replacements.
Hoping to get that Merc truck running too. Its been soaking a long time but the engine is still seized. Have not yet tried the Marvel Mystery oil but thinking about it.
