Default 40 coupe where the trunk lid is bolted to hinges

I have a 40 coupe

I am getting ready to bolt the trunk lid to the hinges on the body.

is there a fabric pad, gasket, rubber pad, thin fabric, nothing? between the hinges and the trunk lid

There is nothing , to my knowledge. As I recall, I installed the part that bolts on the side of the trunk first. The hole allows a little adjustment. Click on photo to enlarge.

As 19Fordy says, nothing between the hinges and lid. However, there was a thin pad between the supports and lid.
