Champion 3 x plugs
I know the one is a reproduction base, they both have a round 3 but the brass tops are different . Can anyone tell what these plugs are?

Re: Champion 3 x plugs
Looks like a full reproduction round 3 x plug, which someone said they never made.

Re: Champion 3 x plugs
champion made a run of 3X plugs for the 84 national with the round top 3. the electrode goes all the way through, unlike the originals that the electrode only came up under the top cap. when they gave them out at the national they were in a neat little black beg, I have one here somewhere.

How many plugs were made? I picked up a set of 4?

Do the flat top 3x's have the electrode going all the way through to the top? I would think that would be a better design.

Re: Champion 3 x plugs
Referring to the 3X printing on the ceramic insulator. The top of the 3 was rounded like this one whereas the other type had the top of the three, flat.

Re: Champion 3 x plugs
Are the reproductions still multi-part like the originals? Can they be disassembled?
