Default 49 Ford Windshield Wiper Motor

I recently purchased a NOS Wiper Motor in the original box to replace the wiper motor on my 49 16000 mile original shoebox. My question is the NOS motor seems like it needs to be lubricated to loosen it up some. How and what do I use to lubricate and loosen it up? Any Ideas???

I've heard ATF, brake fluid, WD40 and several other things. I put a bunch of ATF in one, helped quite a bit.

Use a little bit of Marvel Mystery Oil in it. It should soften up the old grease inside the motor.

So should I take it apart and clean the old grease out of the motor?

I shot GIBBS Oil into the rubber vacuum tube to the wiper motor and it freed up instantly.....
