Re: Period Jazz Party
That looks like fun. Thanks for posting.
I'm going to have to dust off my spats and find my hat so I can go next time.

Re: Period Jazz Party
Tiny, You may want to come to the bay area for the Gatsby Picnic put on by the Art Deco Society-it is a bit closer. I have been a taxi for the past two years and hope to finish the car next week and go a third year. People get a real kick out of riding in the car and I am stirring up interest in the hobby at the same time.

Re: Period Jazz Party
Hi Tiny,
Here is a link that should take you right to the page. http://www.gatsbysummerafternoon.com/tickets I believe they have pics as well. People are not kidding when they say people go all out. I think there are picnic set ups there that cost more than our cars. Get there early, plan to stay all day and wear your best picnic fines. Mike

Re: Period Jazz Party
Yep, it is the band and the Dunsmuir House where the picnic is held. Either way it is a lot of fun though. Last year there were several 20's Lincolns and a Pierce Arrow touring Car that was stunning.
