28 pu door post
Could someone post a pic of a 1928 pu inside door post.My basket case pu has new wood but no hardware on the door wood.Need to know what its missing.Thanks in advance

I assume you have a CCPU, not a open pickup. I have some pictures of the bottom of the wood I removed from my pickup a year or two ago. I also have replacement wood for the door pillar, but I don't have pictures of it, but if needed, I could take some pictures and send them to you in an email. The door pillars have a thick wood post and a second wood piece that is attached with screws to the lower part of the heavy wood pillar. You can see the thin wood piece screwed to the heavy piece in the picture. The crude notches in the wood are what I had to make to remove the bolts and they were turning due to the rotted wood. Let me know if you need pictures of the replacement door post wood. I just found a picture of a wood kit for a 28/29 CCPU (last picture).
