Default Electric Windshield wiper loom...

In Area 20, Windshield Wipers, on page 20-8, Revised 1997, Column 2, first paragraph, it states at the end of the paragraph that "Begining in mid-1929 (May 1929), the closed car wiring between the firewall wiring clips was protected by a small diameter black lacquered loom"

I would like to know and see the original Ford documentation (paper trail) that concernes this "black lacquered loom" and the Ford part number.

I have searched the Parts Price Lists for this part and can not find it.

Am I missing something here? I have viewed several dozen original Model As after the Mid-1929 date and have yet to see a loom on any original windshield wiper wring within this area.

Has anyone ever seen the reminents of this "black lacquered loom" on any original, unrestored closed cars from May 1929 on?

Thanks.
