Default Ford Flathead Coffee Table

During the summer months here in Minnesota, I have a 1950 F1 Pickup as part of our backyard decorations. It has been cosmetically restored and is stored in a heated building beginning in early Fall. I originally wanted to build a street rod using the engine, but that did not happen. As an alternative, I used it for a coffee table in our office area. The valve train, pistons and rods were removed to reduce weight. My son designed the stand and actually completed an FEA (finite element analysis analysis) as part of his engineering studies. I've seen a number of basic automotive block and radial aircraft engine coffee tables, but nothing that ever used a Ford V8 Flathead. Thought I would share a few photographs. The white colored area is a reflection from the overhead lights.
