Default New to me

Brought home a 36 to go with my 47. Maybe a bit too rustic for the Barn but I'm really enjoying driving this one. Took it out to breakfast this morning. Stock drivetrain with the exception of a 47 flathead. Didn't take too long to get the hang of the stock transmission. Can't pry the grin off of my face with this one.

The best thing about driving a vehicle with that much patina is you don't have to worry about rock chips in the paint or parking lot dings! Just drive it and have fun with it.

I love it! I really wanted a 30's pickup but no place to put my legs... settled on a 49.

I could see the 30's pickup would be a tight fit for some. Took it out on Interstate 44 yesterday , quite a challenge with those peep mirrors and fast traffic, but it did well. Still need to do something with a floor mat and a few other adjustments. Really like how the door windows roll up them move forward.

they don't make floor mats for 35, 36 pickups. what i did was, i bought a mat from Napa parts store. they had ones that you see in front of businesses or in stores. they are made of rubber and a low pile carpet. just cut to fit. also i used to work at a u-haul store, i got some of their moving blankets. they are like a jute materiel. it helped keep the sound down...Brendan

Geez you'd have to be a big guy not to fit into a 35 cab onwards..
I believe they call them "smokers windows"
