1929 Coupe value
I recently looked at a 1929 Ford coupe and just want to know what is a good deal?
It is a completely stock 1929 coupe with a rumble seat. It is a fairly nice older restoration that has been cared for. The only significant "bad" thing is that, to be nice, it should be repainted. Right now the paint job is kind of a 20 footer. The rest of the car is pretty good. So what is a good deal? I apologize that I didn't think to take any pictures when I looked at the car. |

Re: 1929 Coupe value
I know "pretty good" seems vague. But, I believe that is accurate terminology. Runs and drives well, but underhood/undercarriage would need to be detailed if I were going to take it to shows. Interior has no stains or tears but is black vinyl(?) and needs some cleaning(dusty from being parked in a shed and not getting out very often). Rumble seat looks good but also needs a little cleaning from not being used in ages. Wouldn't have to be repainted necessarily. But, has a few runs in it and a few spots that were sprayed dry(might sand and buff some of the flaws out... then again maybe not. idk).

What do you want to do with it, show it or drive it ? You don't need perfect paint to enjoy driving it.
If you want an A and overall like it, get it and enjoy driving it while you fix the things that need attention. |

Set yourself a max price you want to spend on a car then shop for the best car you can find for your money. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWzH...7a7jxc&index=1 Last edited by ModelA29; 08-27-2023 at 01:32 PM. |

Re: 1929 Coupe value
I like to go to Hemming’s on line site. It will at least give you some idea of what a similar car is being offered for.
The are just to many questions that need to be asked to get any kind of worthwhile answer here. A good driver, with good brakes, shocks, tires, springs and front end. No rust, a 20 footer! Just a guess, $14,000.00? Good luck. |
