Default 33 Fuel Gauge

I know this has been posted plenty of times on how to clean out the glass tube & copper tail. But the older I get, the shaker I get so--Is there anybody out there that can provide a refurbished Gauge or replacement unit ?
The thread on my brass hex has been crossed , not by me I might add.

Thanks for Ted. I just might do that. At the moment I've got it soaking in lacquer thinners. Is there meant to be a copper pin inside the Hex tube ?.

The pin is a calibration pin. Try something like lye or acid to get the crud out. G.M.
