An example of why we now have auto safety standards, and one of the reasons why todays cars cost so much. Hope whoever was in it walked away fomrthe crash. But not likely.

Modern cars have "crumple zones" designed in, to absorb much of the impact forces. Looks like A's and T's had 'crumple zones' too, but not by design!
