'31 Roadster p/u top question
Working on getting the top on the '31 Roadster pickup we are putting together.
Bought the Cartouche top with plastic back window. I need to obtain the "studs" that go in the top of the back panel to hold the bottom of the top down. This top does not have a center flap that can be pulled up. It appears the holes in the cab are threaded. What is the proper name of the "studs" that I am looking for, and are they readily available from the typical Model A vendors? They are not the "Lift a Dot" fasteners, just the open holes. Thank you. Re: '31 Roadster p/u top question
Here is what I have on my '31 RDPU. I put them in 40 years ago so I can't swear they are correct or why I chose them. I would try Le Baron Bonney, (800) 221-5408.

Tony Hillyard a fellow Barner here. Made a YouTube video on Model A top installation.
Do a search for that. Very well done, as well as informative. Good luck. Jeff |

They are called "clinch style wood screws". Most all vendors carry them in various sizes.
