How common are heads with ford script embossed in the head, just aft of the distributor hole. Also has the numbers 61841 on the water pump flange, also cast in the head.

I've got one just like it. Its the only one that i've seen in person. I've been told that it was sold by Western Auto but thats just hear say and I couldn't prove it. Sears, Montgomery Ward and others sold aftermarket replacement heads. Being as its just standard compression I would think that fifty dollars if you are lucky or more if you needed a head. I've seen the high compression version with model A in raised letters on the riser like the one that you've got on eBay with the heart shaped combustion chamber. They were calling it a police head . I guess who ever made them made two versions. The higher compression version would be worth a lot more.
