My New 'T'
I'm not going to be able to post pictures of this. Sorry. Just got my first T yesterday. It's a '26 Runabout. It looks to be an older restoration. Maybe original? My first thought.....I thought my '28 A was small! I got it running once, briefly last night. It seems to have an intermittent starting issue. I guess? Sometimes I can't get the starter to turn over. It could be a faulty switch, bad wiring, or..... Is there a special sequence that has to be done to activate the starter? I wouldn't think so, but......

Re: My New 'T'
Congratulations, fun times are ahead for sure. Welcome. Most likely a loose or dirty connection. The foot button is exposed to dirt and moisture.
I would begin there and check cables next. If no luck there you might want check the starting motor, but make sure, first, that you have good ground and good connections. No magic or secrets to getting it to crank. Either seek out a buddy T owner or do like I did, get yourself some books. I always recommend the Ford manual and books by Murray Fahnstock, and Ted Aschman. They are around and can be found used for cheap. Fun to learn. Drop by here any time to share your questions and success. Best wishes
