Re: NOS heads
They did NOT just use an original Ford head to pull a mold off when they made these heads. If they did that there would be at least 1/4" too short on the end. Patterns for aluminum sandcast molds need to be 102% of final size.

Re: NOS heads
I like those heads and if "correct" didn't matter, I'd sure attempt to use them for the 'different" appeal.

Re: NOS heads
Not rip off or low budget IMHO........I've purchased these heads from Ray @ Job Lot
ages ago and used them with no issues. The boss/bolt hole situation would be times 3 if an existing head was utilized in mold making. I like them Charlie ny |

Same as the heads there were on the engine in the '37 I once owned. I believe the were British manufactured.

Re: NOS heads
Them heads that are listed on eBay with the firing order cast into them are 21 stud heads. The heads I have are 24 stud. I don’t think that would be a fair comparison other than both being aftermarket. I believe the original company who reproduced these heads “Perfection Gear Co.” is still in business, however they moved from Illinois to North Carolina in the early 60’s. I’m considering polishing them and run on my test stand engine. Thanks again.
