Default 1940 DeLuxe steering wheel

Can some one post a picture of a forty deluxe steering wheel color paint scheme. I have seem pics of different paint of the sand beige and garnet maroon paint. Thanks....

The rim is beige and the center is maroon. By "center" I mean the area between the very outer stainless rings and the entire hub. The horn button should match in (maroon) color as well. The reproduction buttons are not faithfully matched to the authentic color.
Both colors should match your instrument panel.

Here's a few photos of the 40 DeLuxe steering wheel. This is a BOB DRAKE repop from when he first made them. Should have sanded it more. 17 in. dia. Horn button is also a DRAKE repro. Couldn't resist showing how nice the Ford Crestliner wheel looks in a 40. 16 in. dia. Hope "Kube" also posts photos.

Thank you so much. I am painting my wheel and wanted to be sure of the correct paint scheme. I love the forty Ford...

That photo you'd posted with the ruler over the wheel seems to be the best (most faithful) exposure. The picture I've posted should help a bit as well - although mine is a bit over exposed making the beige look too "beige".
