Default Looking For Mechanic S.E. Texas

As Oldforder started a topic on a similar subject, different location. To keep from hijacking his thread, thought I’d better start my own.

I live N.E. of Houston, in Livingston, TX. I recently bought a 1930 pickup. I would like to locate someone in the vicinity knowledgeable about the A. I’d like someone who can evaluate my purchase, and advise me on what is needed to make a reliable driver. I drove it home, about 3 miles, maybe I already have the driver I want?

Edit...I’ll be sending the PU down to Fulshear, TX to put in my sons barn until summer.

My problem is most clubs meet after dark, and I can no longer drive in the dark. Clubs in Houston....drive in Houston...only going to the medical center, to the back of an ambulance!

Edit...good suggestion, and really wish it were easier.

The Piney Wood A's (in Tomball, NW of Houston) meet often on Saturday morning and plan most drives and tours during daylight hours.

The Houston club has a few members down around Fulshear, or within driving distance.

Most of us don't like to drive our A's much through Houston (though I have done it several times).

There are a lot of very helpful people here in this area. And we have a lot of fun with our cars.
