Wanted 3 speed NON OVERDERIVE trans for 55

Looking for a good non overdrive 3-speed trans. for a 55 Ford .Maybe 56 works also. Need it for a55 T-Bird

Can you measure the overall lenght of it..... front of the housing to end of tailshaft housing? Thanks

I have a 3 speed out of a 56 car that I'd take $100 for.It worked OK when the car was scrapped.I've looked inside it and it appears to to be in good shape.I don't have any way to ship it,so you'd have to pick it up.I'm in central Missouri.If interested phone 660 888 2213.

I have the shifter That is in the car now Thanks.... Still looking for a reasonable priced non OD, 3 speed trans. and closer to eastern Iowa would really help.

i had a 55 t-bird for almost 50 years

I have a nice 3 speed , not overdrive, transmission for your Ford. Fine spine front and rear. I also have a Hurst shifter made for this trans. I live north of you near Iowa/wis border. For some gas money, I can meet you half way to pick up. $100 on the trans and $50 on the shifter. Call me at 608-738-1861.
