Default Who sells aluminum cam gears?

My fiber can gear grenaded yesterday and I need to find an aluminum one ASAP. I am not interested in another fiber one as I don't want to have to replace it ever again. Please let me know who sells them and I'll happily sent them some money. Just the cam gear, not the set. I've attached a picture of what happened to mine yesterday...
Thanks! Kevin

I bought mine from Bert's this summer.

What you had was an aluminum center gear, which never was a good gear from the start.

Don't do half the job, get a matched set from Dan more work but you'll be happier in
the long run.

I have the matched set from Dan as well. Couldn't be happier. If I remember correctly, when I called Dan, he sent the gears out right away without asking for money up front. YMMV

Hi Kevin,

FWIW:

This may be a bit emotional for some; but ..... however, if you would get a Dan McEachern Model A crank gear with a matching Dan McE Model A "aluminum" metal timing gear, from experience, you will be about as happy as all of our dedicated U.S. Combat needy wounded U.S. Veterans formally swept in the ditch, who just unexpectedly "Flushed the Damn Broken Toilet" and can now see light at the end of their VA Hospital Tunnel.

May God bless Combat Wounded Veterans and Mr. Dan McEachern, and also Model A owners who want good reliable metal timing gears.

Yes, it had the aluminum center piece but it broke when I was removing it. I then used a gear puller to get the aluminum off of the cam. I have email Dan McEachern and a currently waiting a response. I've never replace a crankshaft gear and don't want to get in over my head with it. I don't mind if it makes a bit of noise, as I'm more concerned with reliability. Thanks for the responses. I will be dropping the oil pan to remove all the pieces of broken fiber teeth sometime this week. What a mess this has been.
