Default Dovetail Help!

Maybe someone can guide me on installing these dovetails. All I had was a
little bit of dried rubber in the doors, scraped it clean. Recieved the new
pieces today from Mac's. One pc of rubber is too small, two pcs are
too big for the door pocket. Clue me in before I start cutting!

no doubt your parts came in a Vintique package. The rubber is too large. You will have to trim it and lube it with soap or wd40 to get it on there. Grinding it is easier than cutting it. It will grind better cold or even frozen. Heres a link to Marcos post with photos

search "dovetail rubber"on this forum and you will find others experiences helpful

Thank's a bunch Pat! I see I have the wrong ones, I need the
late 31 units. These will proably work with 'grinding' though.

Thank's, Rich
