Since we're laughing at ourselves again. I checked the JS and His definition of Gay, doesn't mention any thing about white walls, Elvis or Liberace. Though original design is an issue.

This debate wastes enough space in other threads. Was it really necessary to start one?

... or to ADD to it??

You can see where I stand from my avatar. These were on the car when I bought it, and when it comes time to replace, I might just go there again. Gives the old survivor a cheeky edge (and if I can upset some purist who wants to tell me how to present MY car, all the better ).

Not when I have to look at it. LOL

I agree, it makes no difference white or black, as long as it runs good and is fun and dependable.

Yes you are right, and at 2000 plus, not one person will have changed their mind but at least we all had our say. Wayne

OK I'll put in my two cents worth.
Paul, I totally agree, TO EACH HIS OWN.

Yes, I do like them.
No, I don't have them on my car.
Why not,
1, to damn expensive
2, to hard to keep clean

My advise to you Paul is if you have to change something, keep the wheels and change the wife.

Just joking of course, I bet she is a lovely woman.

Well next week I will be installing new WHITEWALLS on my recently powder coated wheels.... why? because I want to! I could care less if Ford installed originally, it is my car, my money so when I sell the car the next person can also do whatever works for them, pretty simple isn't it?

The search function is what lead me to ask the question. I didn't mean to start a debate, just curious. Now I know. Thanks.

Chuck, which car will have the mew whitewalls? Your Roadster, IMO, looks great with blackwalls but that might be because of the color it is.

I like Coups but I like Roadsters more. The idea of the rushing of air blowing over my bald head of hair gives me thrills.

Too late for that explanation now.............. I wanted to know also but was afraid to ask. I have figured out just by reading what is touchy topics and what's not. Whitewalls, oil and rat-rods/hot rods, Viagra.............
