7-tooth steering bush
I recently bought a new brass upper steering bush from Snyders for reconditioning my 7-tooth steering column. This is the bush on the shaft immediately above the worm. When comparing the new repro bush with two old original ones I find that (i) it is about 3mm shorter (ii) it has a much larger oil hole and (iii) there is no spiral grove inside the bush. So is there any reason not to use this bush?
