Brake roller pins
I'm in the process of going through the brakes on our "A" & have a problem or question that maybe others could comment on. My old rollers pins have wear grooves so I figured I should buy new rollers & pins. The problem is the worn pins mic out at .435 & the new ones at .429. I feel that .006 is a lot of difference. My old brake shoes would probably be fine if the new pins were that same diameter as the old ones but they aren't. This means I will need new shoes also. Has anyone bought the new shoes that are being sold & had a good pin fit or are they quite sloppy?

Re: Brake roller pins
I measured 3 old used Roller Pins. 2 measured .435 and one measured .429.
I measured 3 new ones, each at .4355 . Bought them from Bratton's. Might pay to check with your vendor concerning the size. They need to fit very snug in the shoe. No slop.
