1956 Ford Automatic Transmission

I have a transmission that came from a 1956 Ford. The transmission came with a rebuilt engine that I'm putting into my wagon but I do not need this transmission. I was told that the transmission was rebuilt but I can't confirm that. I'm also told this transmission was out of a Thunderbird?? It's air cooled. See pics for more details.
