Default Another attempt at first time posting of photos?

Good evening Friends -

After seeing the post below and reading the directions (again) about how to post pictures, I thought I would try it again. If this goes through, these are pictures of our latest project.

Dick, if you're having trouble go to the Test Forum and play around
until you get it figured out. Are your pictures filed on your computer
(preferred) or are you using an offsite hosting service?

Also check the size ,amount of pixels in the picture, I used to have it error out and had to go to a smaller picture size, then it would load . Good luck, usually works for me, but still have not figured out how to rotate them.

This is how I do it, just make sure the picture file is not to large

Easy way for pics:
Click the "blue post reply" lower left bottom of page, when text box opens, in the top middle of the bar you will see a "paperclip" click that, a window will open "manage attachments" click "choose file" then pick your picture, after you picked up to seven pics click the top "upload" on the right hand side of the text box, wait for it to upload.
You must type something, anything into the text box message, scroll down to see "preview post" at bottom of your text box, you should see your message as it will appear when you post, if you like it click "submit reply" to post.
Easy-cheesy

I've found that "clicking" the "go advanced" button works better than the "post quick reply" button.

I gave up on it.I'm not interested in having to memorize a paragraph of procedure or try this app or that app.I don't even know how to get apps.I post pictures on 11 different sites, and I can just post them direct,no fiddling with testing or sizing.I'm not about to reinvent the wheel for just this one site.I know tech people find it easy beans to do these things, but I don't.

So there might be another issue here.

What type of connection to the web and is it running fast enough.
With all the cyber crap going on in the last year, I had to dump my router for a new one that could run the current security. An indication of this is reduced speeds and by cycling the power it clears the caches.

The other concern is just being patient with the upload. It is not instantaneous, give it a minute or two and wait for a confirmation.

Thanks guys -

This was not my first (or second or even third) attempt to try my hand at this. A few years back I tried posting on the test sight - same result(s). I have said for years that I have a thorough understanding of state-of-the-art electronics from 65 years ago - I know how to plug in the calculator, and which keys to push to both add and subtract, but I suppose that anything after that is where I begin to run into problems. During my working days there was always another person to hand the more technical things off to, but now that I am on my own, that will probably be my last attempt. For those that might have been curious, the photos were of our 68C Cabriolet - maroon with tacoma cream wheels. The pictures look pretty nice - wish I could share them with you all. Thanks for the many kind attempts to shepherd me through this process. Maybe one day Ryan will come up with a simpler method for us technologically challenged folks. Thanks once again ... .

Join the other forum. Photo uploading is much more user friendly. Many of the same people are on both.
