Default getting out stuck head studs

I have been helping a couple friends built a hill climb engine. It had 8 stuck studs. They came up with a neat idea how to get them out, with out breaking them. They are Steven Grace and Bill DeVore. They took some 1/2 plastic conduit cut it about 3/4 inch long. Then put it around the stud and glued it to the block. Then filled it with penetrating oil,let it set for a few days. It worked.

They used black RTV
