Default Carb smoke

Hi guys, I drove the Model A around the block today. Ran pretty good. Started right up, idled fine, accelerated fine. After I shut the engine off I noticed the smoke coming out of the carb. See attached picture below. What do you think about this? Thanks!

That's gas vapour. Be careful. Something is amiss.

Common to kick backwards slightly when engine stops, like a "WHOOSH" sound & blows out gas vapor. More likely to do it if idling too fast or with advanced spark at cut off. Bill W.

Not always serious -- happens now & then.

But on a more serious note, it could also be a result of new U. S. Congressional Lobbying from other U. S. Agricultural Organizations; i.e., adding a new type ethanol in gasoline made from tobacco leaves which cause smoke.

Ha! I'm going with the ghost of Henry Ford. My grandpa, dad, and uncle all worked for Ford starting in 1910 and have met him. He's probably came back to haunt me for the 12v negative ground wiring job I did.
