Default 40 fenders

I found a set of front fenders that are supposed to be 40 Fords.....Are the fenders the same for standard ,deluxe and pickup ??? How about '39 and 40's...are they the same ???

The fenders on all '40 passenger cars are the same. The pickup fenders are different at the back part of the fender(less mounting holes and the flange is flat and not angled like the passenger cars). The 39 Deluxe and the '40 passenger cars have basically the same front fenders. There is a slight difference in the front curve on the '39 fender vs the '40. The '39 fender will fit the '40.

The hole opening for the headlight bucket on a 39 deluxe is alittle different then a 40. The 1940 has a notch for the headlight angle adjustment

someone said that the commercial fenders were different...what is considered commercial...what would the wagon be considered ???

The wagon utilized the passenger car fenders.
