Well - the AF head atop a stock Diamond B has been a bit of fun. Pulled a 3.27 through the Cotswolds no problem. Steady 60 and more cruising along in comfort.

Pity the head gasket went yesterday (out dragging a tuned Morris Minor of all things for ten or so miles on a dual carriageway) - but not surprising as it was pre-owned... I'd put the engine together just to see how it runs. Pulling the head is no biggy as it could do with a new set of rings.

Mr. UPDRAUGHT - a the end of your linked advert, it lists a 'De Luxe Fordor with sliding roof'.... Any idea what the 'sliding roof' was? Thanks

Basically a sliding opening sun roof. That typically leaked and rotted out. Thus my Fordor 'had' a sliding roof...

You'll be wanting that G38T downdraft manifold won't you and a FoMoCo Zenith?

Was the sunroof a factory option? Or after-market? Never heard of it before...
