How to take apart a Heinze HA-C1??
I have a couple of HA-C1's wipers and I want to make one good one out of the two. Thus I need to take the motor part from one and put it on the gear part of the other. The problem is getting it apart. The pin (see picture) that goes through the little rod that turns it on, will not come out(at least I have not be able to get it out) and this pin needs to come out to get them apart. Any ideas on how to get this pin out? At lease this is the way I see it but I am sure I don't know what I am doing!
Please help!!!!

Other than drilling out or somehow getting this pin out of that rod, is there any other way of getting this thing apart. Anyone have any ideas??

Re: How to take apart a Heinze HA-C1??
I would try supporting the shaft, and with a brass rod try tapping out the pin. I will wait for a better suggestion to be offered to learn the proper method.

I have thought about that but I was afraid I would mess it up so I would never get it out.
