I’m sorry this is not model A, but could anyone recommend a place to restore brass coach lights? TIA Mike

Re: Brass Coach Lights
most are out of business. There are a very few that show up to Hershey each year, but as in all things, a dying trade.
There was a co in Australia, that then sold out to a Fella in the Upstate NY area. Dont know if he is still in business. There was also a fella in The Nazareth PA area doing brass light restoration, about 5 yrs ago. Dont know if hes still around. sorry for not having better info, but that is all I know from my looking for the same. |

Re: Brass Coach Lights
Mike, specifically what are you looking to have done? What brand light and such??
There are a couple of guys that are still doing brass lamp restos however what I have found is their backlog is insane (like 3-5 years). I am restoring the Maxwell sidelamps myself, so is that a possibility you can do them yourself?? |

Re: Brass Coach Lights
I think that used to be the case around here however after calling around, I quickly discovered those craftsmen are few and far between any longer. Here locally, the 3 large band music stores all send their instruments about 120 miles away to someone who I was told stays several months behind. Evidently all the schools locally use the same repairman, so with his backlog I decided to go a different direction.
