Default 1929 Mallory

I believe the first Mallory distributor came out for the Model A in 1929 and was cast iron with a centrifugal advance and an advance lever.

Was this it?

There are two patent numbers on the plate, 1,584,881 and 1,663,207. Neither has the look of this one, but this one was based on the patents.

I have one on order through JEGS. MSD bought Mallory and started production again with the most popular items 1st. I was told that mine would be shipped in January, mine is aluminum billet so it may not be the same. I understand that Holly bought MSD so who knows what & when these items will become available again.

I noticed that there is no pin to lock the distributor to the head
