Default Model A Hubs and V8 Drums

Does anybody know if 1940-1948 drums can be pressed on to Model A hubs? They are both 5 on 5 1/2. I want to convert to hydraulics and would like to use my Model A hubs. Thanks

It will not work. The offsets are different along with the hub bearing area being a different dia and other factors. You can try to make it work if you want, but the amount of machine work it might take to make it right likely is not worth it. IMHO. Rod
