Default replacing trunk lock on 39 deluxe tudoor sedan

Howdy all
I need to replace the froze rusty original trunk lock on my Dads
39 deluxe. Can a guy get a new one to put in? I can't seem to find one
For the 39 deluxe. I see they have em for the 40 fords...Will they work in the 39s trunk handle?

any help will be appreciated thanks so much

Is the rusty one still in the handle or already removed? They are a bit tedious to remove without damaging the handle but still possible. I have several '39 lock cylinders in stock, or can service the handle to remove and replace. Send me a PM if you want to follow up on your project.

Thanks for the reply flathead
its still in there the locksmith said its froze and needs replaced
he said he can do it if he can find a replacement.
How much for a replacement?
