Thank you steve for the Wheels!
Just want to give a big shoutout to Steve Smith up in Norcal!
Gave me a good deal on some '35 Ford wheels! Was an awesome guy to talk to, and even gave me a little advice on my car! Here's what they look like, and I'm super happy!! |

Re: Thank you steve for the Wheels!
And so you should be. 16" wheels are not very common here. There are some but you've got to look hard to find somebody prepared to sell. I suspect it's because in 1935, new car sales were still pretty poor because of the depression.

Re: Thank you steve for the Wheels!
Manufacturing 16" wires must have been a BIG BUSINESS, to supply Model A needs & for TRAILERS/ETC! NOBODY wanted to use those UGLIES that came out in '36!!!

Re: Thank you steve for the Wheels!
I bought two on one deal,3 on another, gotta touch up the lug holes on one of them.Prices are all over the place on them, cheap as 90 bucks a piece,as high as 250...Finding loose ones is key,a set drives the price

Re: Thank you steve for the Wheels!
At $250 I would get brand new ones made at Wheelsmith.
