Default Alaskan engine Walt

The Alaskan engine is finished, if you put your ear up close to the pc screen you won't hear anything because it's so quiet. This engine will propell a 39 pickup from Maine to Alaska this summer. It's accually a 42 engine with the tin can sleeves removed and bored another .045 to 3-3/16 with 39 heads, the rest is bone stock. Walt

nice looking engine, give us a blow by blow description of the trip from Maine to Alaska (where in Ak?) in a 39 pick-up. Should make for some interesting adventures.

Well guys, I hate to blow your bubble, but it's not me that is driving it to Alaska, it's the owner. His daughter lives here in Maine and he lives in Alaska. He towed that 39 pickup from Alaska to Maine on an open trailer haveing it restored here in Me. The truck is about ready for the engine. He's going to drive it to Alaska this summer. I'll let you know how he makes out. Walt
