29 Tudot quarter glass install
Has anyone got a step by step on installing the rear windows in a Tudor?

Re: 29 Tudot quarter glass install
I would be interested in this as well. I have a '30 and I am not so sure how the quarter windows are installed. The doors were easily slid in from the top, but I don't see the easy part for the rear sides.

I don't know where you are in the process, but the window trim has to be removed also. Altogether it took me about 90 minutes on one and 60 minutes on the other. It's not a quick and easy job. At least it wasn't for me.

Re: 29 Tudot quarter glass install
Actually figured the install out March 18th. The touble Dad was having, had to do with the new felt channel would not reach the top of the B post on the drivers side. When I got down to the farm I pulled the widow up and pulled the bottom of the felt out of the channel. Then rehooked it at the bottom, and held the bottom hook in place with a screw driver, then started forcing the felt back in to the channel. Effect was the felt did the "inch worm" and slid passed the glass and we were able to then hook it at the top. All is good now, but the windows are a little stiff to roll up and down with the new felts. Is there a way to lube the felt/glass with something to break in the movement?
