1937 5 window windshield adjustment
Hey all,
Can anyone tell me the correct way to adjust a 5 window windshield? I am new to this car and am learning its' quirks. One of which is that the windshield does not close all the way on the driver side. It snugs up on the passenger side but will not snug up enough to hold out water when washing or when it's raining, etc. The rubber is new. Thank you for the help, in advance. Matt |

Re: 1937 5 window windshield adjustment
I don't know of a standard procedure, more trial and error. Remove the inner garnish moldings and the header panel. Loosen all the hinge adjustment screws. Don't overlook the screws inside the body opening, facing down. Detach the regulator arms from the frame. After I wiggle, push, pull to get the adjustment close by observing the fit around the body opening I reattach the regulator arms and pull the frame in the opening. If the fit looks good I tighten the hinge bolts and recheck.
