Young man drove his 1914 from Michigan
To Hershey. What a trip. He was only 23 years old and a nice young man. I know this is a 32 to 53 site but I just had to tell you about him. This was his first trip in the Pa. mountains and no Ruckstell rear end. Low peddle all the way to the top of the mountains. Yes a young man 23 has the love for the old cars is special. I had a speedometer for a 14 on my table I gave it to him.We offered to feed him and everybody was very good to him. He was surprise how good people treated him. Skip sold one of his Model T's so he offered to take his T over to the mountains and give him a place to stay over night so he left the next day to go home driving the 1914. What a nice young man and he love Hershey. He said he was surprise how nice the people treated him. He will never forget the trip to Hershey and the people he got to meet. I just had to tell you this story.

the future of "old cars" is in our collective hands. Yes, great story and very foreword-thinking.

Great story !
Sadly the basic skills for fixing mechanical things is not needed today...and that combined with that even an entry level classic car is expensive keeps a lot of young people away from the old cars. |

Nice story! We have a high school kid in our local car club. He has an early 60's TBird.

I was a little nervous driving my mom's newer Buick through the mountains in PA, let alone driving driving a Model T through there.
