Default 1929 Tudor Sedan - trade/offer

City: Lakewood
State: CA
Price: offer?

Unrestored 1929 Ford Tudor Sedan

The body has a mixture of old paint and surface rust (especially rear panel), but the only area of cancer is a spot at the bottom right cowl. The sub frame metal is solid. There is some wood that needs replaced. The driver’s side door glass needs replaced. The body has all its trim pieces. Both doors close solid. The driver’s side door has a dent in it from hitting the wheel well spare tire. It still has the driver's side wheel well fender.

This car spent its whole life in Southern California (only 3 owners before now). It had a damaged front passenger fender, a damaged front end, and a damaged passenger side frame horn. I have installed another front end and four 21” wheels with new tubes and good tires. The frame horn will be repaired, soon.

There were some missing parts that I have come up with, like the headlights, taillight, a rear spare tire mount and a restored pair of front seats (see pic). I may be getting a better front passenger fender. There is a four speed AA trans in the car, currently, but I intend to replace it with a regular Model A trans. The rear seat is missing.

The car does not run. Someone started removing the head and water pump. I have not checked to see if the motor is free. The motor number is a September 1929. There is no title.

I might consider selling this car, but would prefer to trade it for a 28/29 Ford pickup.
