Default Venicle numbers

If the frame number has no stars, is that of concern? I'm thinking just the omit by the stamper person.

There are normally three and I think only the front one has the stars and prefix. Also believe there are reported discrepancies.

Help us out and tell us what year vehicle you have. I think your AVATAR is a Model A. I will assume you have some year of the V8 since you are posting in the V8 forum. Are there stars on the number by the steering that is visible?

I am guessing Clem is referring to his 1940 Mercury CS. Very nice car!
