Default Cad Plating sheen...

After bead blasting some parts for Cad Plating, I see that those parts have a gray sheen to the metal.

When the parts are buffed clean with a wire wheel, those parts have their natural sheen of silver.

Would there be a color difference with the cad plating when the two were plated or would the sheen be the same.

If different, which would match the original sheen of cad plating, the grayish part or the silver part?

I have never seen a true, new old stock cad plated part.

Does anyone have any?

Thanks.

Pluck
