Default Spicey Car Photos

These photos of babes on cars were hot stuff back in the 1920s and 1930s. Today there are worse TV commercials.

How did you get pictures of my mother????

Man in trench coat, standing in an alleyway, to a man passing by: "Hey, Mister! Do you have any naked pictures of your wife?"
Man, indignantly: "Of course not!!!"
Man in alley, reaching inside his trench coat: "Wanna buy some?""

Ha, ha, ha! Oh, I bet I get banished for that one.

I'm thinking that the wheels are not correct for this truck, but looking closely it does look like original style Firestone tires.....and the sealed beam headlights, where are they from?

Yeah, you're right, Tom. I guess to update the joke to suit modern American technology, jargon and the "new" demographics, the man in the trench coat should be offering photos of the guy's wife on a diskette or a zip drive. And maybe I'd have to change "trench coat" to "hoodie"? Also, who stands in city alleys anymore - and lives to tell about it? And to be 100% PC, there'd have to be a racial balance so that at least one of the main characters would have to be a minority figure, preferably with some kind of disability. And...and...and...
Oh, heck! Forget it. It's not worth the effort to bring a classic joke into the 21st Century. It's better off staying in Grandpa's time.

Zip disk was introduced in 1994!

Here is the kind of stuff that we had to repair ...

IBM 350 RAMDAC - prototypes shipped 1957!

3.75 MegaBytes

Weighed over 2000 pounds ...

And then there was all of the Punch Card machines from the 1940's 50's 60's and etc ...

Marshall,

To be more up to date your trenchcoat man should offer photos on an eight inch floppy disk.
