Default 1937 Pickup Bed

Guys, I’m not well versed in pickup “stuff “, but I just bought another bed for a ‘37 coupe. It had a very useful spring on the chain hook which made it impossible to shake loose while the vehicle is in motion. I was wondering if this spring was something that all pickups came with and if so, is there a source for them? I would love to have another pair for my 1/2 ton pickup (see avatar). Any information would be greatly appreciated. [email protected]
