Default 1938 Cowl Vent Screen

Anyone have any luck converting 1939-up cowl vent screen to fit a 1938??
The 1938 screens seem to be unobtainable from major vendors right now…
As always, thank you in advance!

Is the 38 cowl vent screen unique to a 38 or does the 37 also fit the 38?

Did you try Third Gen Automotive? Check out their web page. Also, try Fred at Southside Obsolete.

Hmmm? I think I see a pair of scissors and some leftover catscreening, weather stripping, screws & washers from the Home Depot for my 38 vent if I ever decide to open it again. Last time I think was in 1984.
