The light bar can be difficult to re install. It helps to loosen or remove the fasteners that attach it to the fender and frame.

My antique cherry picker has enough lift to clear the light bar so it's a piece of cake.

Leafing through Les Andrews book today, I noticed his process describes removing the engine only. But, doing it that way you sure wanna remember to start those bottom 2 bolts on the bottom of the bell housing adjacent to the wishbone mount BEFORE you finally mate the engine to the bell housing!
