Re: Temp gauges for the A
Thanks RonC: I copied and pasted and printed this. I will check it like you explained. That seems pretty straight forward and I will be able to verify how in specs I am. I am just now getting my new battery setup in the car. I just painted the battery tray and made a hold down. I don't think I have any real major problems with the A but I do have dozens of small thinks that need repaired. Thanks for you help. I am not sure if I could do this if it wasn't for you guys.

Re: Temp gauges for the A
I use a modern temp gauge I got at a cheap parts store. Works great. You can take out the 12 volt bulb and install a 6 volt if you want. Saves alot a worry. I know "Henry" didn't put one in the car. If you burnt up the engine, he'd sell you a new one.

Re: Do you use one of those special hoses
I recall that I sawed off half of the toliet water supply fitting so that it would fit in the hose. I put one fender washer inside the hose, the other on the outside of the hose and put the supply fitting through the washers and clamped it all tight with a nut on the inside that fit the outside threads of the toilet fitting. Good luck!
