Default Fuel Pump Regulator

I am having a Weber downdraft carb installed on my new engine (along with lots of other stuff). Weber mentions a Carter/Napa regulator to use with the pump ( I am also going with a 12V electrical system). The engine builder has mentioned that the regulators that he has seen are not of the best quality. Can anyone reommend a good low pressure regulator to use?

Thanks, Mark

Pro-Fuel also known as "Filt-O-Reg" is the regulator that I installed on my Rear Tank to be used on the Around the World Tour (30 years ago) it is still working very well. I also installed one a few years ago when I Installed a Webber Carb.I can't remember where I bought the first one , however the second regulator was purchased at a NAPA store. I have both regulators set at 2 or 3 pounds.

Thank you gentlemen. I will discuss the options you provided with the engine builder.

Thank you for the leads.

I have the pump that is sold as being for the weber carb. It comes in either 6 or 12 volts. The major venders have them. It doesn't need a regulator.
